shall be:
YANKEES FIRE JOE GIRARDI.
Oh, you mean the front page headline? About that little election the night before? Okay, let's talk about that.
For those looking for a diary of great substance and meaning, look elsewhere. This is purely a got a little time to kill, have a little fun, prediction diary.
Specifically, who is going to win, and by how much?
I am of course creating a poll for this, but I am more interested in more detailed predictions, from those who dare (and can be bothered to think about such things, which presumably you are if you are still reading this).
So- my prediction- Barack Obama with 284 electoral votes. Specifically, he holds every state that Kerry won, and picks up Colorado, Iowa, New Mexico, and Missouri. I am throwing Ohio to McCain, although of course that one can really go either way, I guess more out of a sense that since it won't change the winner, so I'll go the conservative route.
So, closer than some of the conventional wisdom would suggest, and if Michigan and Missouri are toss ups on election night there could be some nervous sweating into the wee hours, but ultimately a win for Obama.
Oh, and Bobby Valentine will replace Girardi.
